Refund & Cancellation Policy

Your Satisfaction is Our Priority

1. Order Cancellation

At Shadab, we process your orders immediately to ensure freshness. Order cancellation is subject to the following rules:

  • Before Processing: You can cancel your order within 2 minutes of placing it via the App/Website if it hasn't been accepted by the kitchen.
  • After Processing: Once the kitchen begins preparing your order, cancellation is no longer possible and no refund will be issued.
  • Cancellation by Shadab: We reserve the right to cancel orders due to unavoidable circumstances (e.g., item unavailability, severe weather, or delivery area issues). In such cases, a 100% refund will be processed.

2. Eligibility for Refund

Refunds are considered only under specific conditions to ensure fairness to both our customers and our culinary team:

  • Incorrect Order: If the items delivered do not match the items ordered.
  • Missing Items: If items paid for are not included in the delivery package.
  • Quality Concerns: If the food quality does not meet our high standards (e.g., spoiled or damaged packaging during transit). This must be reported within 30 minutes of delivery with photographic evidence.
  • Non-delivery: If the order is marked as delivered but not received, and verified by our delivery logs.

3. Refund Process & Timeline

Approved refunds are processed back to the original payment method used during the transaction.

  • Assessment: Our support team will review your claim within 24 hours of submission.
  • Approval: Once approved, the refund is initiated immediately.
  • Bank Processing: Depending on your bank or payment provider, it may take 5 to 7 working days for the amount to reflect in your account.
  • Wallet Refunds: Refunds to the Shadab Wallet (if applicable) are usually credited within 2-4 hours.

4. Non-Refundable Scenarios

Refunds will not be issued in the following cases:

  • Incorrect delivery address provided by the customer.
  • Customer being unreachable or unavailable at the time of delivery.
  • Cancellations requested after the food has been prepared.
  • Small variations in taste or garnishing as our dishes are handcrafted.

5. Bulk Orders & Special Events

For catering or bulk orders exceeding ₹10,000, different cancellation rules apply:

  • Cancellations made 48 hours before the event: 75% refund.
  • Cancellations made 24 hours before the event: 50% refund.
  • Cancellations within 24 hours: No refund.
